Atlanta Braves -1.5 +113

With their back against the wall, the Braves send their 1A/1B starter S. Strider to the mound versus R. Suarez. The success Suarez had in G1 was more of an anomaly that anything you'd expect to happen again. The Braves mash left handed pitching and I expect Suarez to struggle tonight. Strider pitched very well in G1 but the Braves bats just couldn't get going but I like that to change tonight. I think the Braves win this game by several runs and head back home to ATL for a G5.

Buffalo Sabres +114

The Sabres were so close to breaking their playoff drought of 12 years last season as they missed the playoffs by 1 point. There is even more optimism this season that the streak will finally be broken. The one player that will have a huge say in that is rookie netminder D. Levi who should be the #1 goalie this season and will have a lot of pressure on his shoulders. This Sabres lineup is filled with talent that will hopefully take that next step this season. I like that to start tonight with a win on home ice versus the Rangers.

Dallas Stars -1.5 +119

The Blues haven't played a game yet this season and there is already talk that Head Coach C. Berube is on the hot seat, how things change so fast in the NHL, from winning the Stanley Cup to possibly losing your job in lest than 4 years. The Blues roster has been striped of a lot of its talent from last season in R. O'Reilly & V. Tarasenko that will be hard to replace. The Stars will again be a player in the Western Conference and are clearly the better team in this matchup, plus have a huge advantage in goal with J, Oettinger over J. Binnington. I like the Stars by multiple goals here.
